NEW BOOKING PROCEDURES

MEMBERS BOOKING PROCEDURE

March 18th 2020 We have organised the following measures in response to the fast-changing situation re the virus:

As Foxons Tackle has closed their door today for the foreseeable future, members wishing to book onto the following waters must text or telephone 07970 216533 Leave a message if necessary but do not fish until you have confirmation of booking from Chris. BOOKING RULES: 1. Members can only have ONE booking at any time. 2. Members cannot make another booking until their current booking has been used (or cancelled). 3. Please cancel a booking at the earliest opportunity if you are unable to fish. 4. Members can only book for themselves and a fishing partner. 5. One junior member is allowed per bookable beat. This does not count as a booking. e.g. Llyn Crud y Gwynt = 6 rods therefore a total of 6 rods and one junior rod). The junior rule does not apply to Llyn Brenig. 6. Do not fish a bookable beat you have not booked. Just because anglers are not present does not mean the beat is available. Beats are often rested by members who are night fishing. The booking procedures apply to: Llyn Crud y Gwynt - 6 rods per day- 8 a.m. to official sunset time At Llyn Crud y Gwynt members are OK to fish as normal, Chris has spoken with Peris, the owner, but the hut will be locked to prevent any accidental transfer by handling the door handle, pen, diary etc. Catch returns still need to be submitted and can be emailed to rhylandstasaphangling@gmail.com or sent by text only to Dave R's mobile 07854 303485 Please read these updated rules for fishing Llyn Crud y Gwynt Llyn Brenig/Llyn Alwen - 2 rods each Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday The Llyn Brenig Visitor Centre is closed, and the gates at the entrance and exit are locked. Bank fishing only and there'll be a longer walk to reach some parts of the bank. The Nantglyn side will be accessible as usual so you can drive up to Tower Bay etc. We think the exit gate on the Cerrig Road will be open giving access to the Brenig Arm. Below is a printable Brenig catch-return for members to print off - there are catch-return boxes by the main road on both sides of the lake.  There is a ticket machine by the Visitor Centre - you'll need to walk to it - day tickets may be purchased £23 cash only - or from a shop in Bala - see Brenig's Facebook Page and Website. We will do our best to keep you updated as circumstances change.

PLEASE TAKE ALL SENSIBLE PRECAUTIONS CARRY HAND WIPES / SANITIZING GEL KEEP YOUR DISTANCE FROM OTHERS KEEP SAFE BUT KEEP FISHING!
