FRON GOCH - River Elwy
Grid Reference: SH912 698

A double bank beat upstream of Llanfair Talhaiarn.  The beat on the right hand side downstream is shorter than the left.

We acquired this beat late in 2012 and work is required to clear access to some of the fishing.

Parking – proceed from Llanfair Talhaiarn on the A548 in the direction of Llangernyw.  There is a field gate with a public footpath sign about 1 mile from Llanfair TH bridge.  Park inside the gate.  Note that there are bends on either side of the gateway and traffic can be very fast.  Extreme caution has to be taken when entering and leaving the beat parking area.  It is possibly best to turn left on exit.

Booking not required.    Day tickets not available.
